Legal counsel is currently reviewing the Harare City Council land use bylaws to prepare a formal submission for the upcoming planning hearing. We are focusing our efforts on the environmental status of the wetland to challenge the proposed commercial rezoning.

I strongly support this petition, Common wealth games had activities on those grounds as well as international cricket qualifiers. No to land barons, recreational areas must not be exploited for profit!
Green spaces in towns are necessary for mental and physical health. With the present lack of services the place will get dirtier and dirtier and the population more and more unhealthy. Nobody benefits, except of course the developers and those in their pockets. Harare will become one large slum
This can not happen because the council has failed dismally in maintenance of many major recreational facilities including road infrastrure and water reticulation facilities. So I say no to this nonsense .
It is facilities like OH that used to give Harare the “sunshine” status. Designated open and green spaces and recreational facilities are still needed for the urban population.
Growing up a PE boy, I have always had pride knowing that every sporting PE lad has a chance to pursue his dream at OH. Taking this away to obviously sell as stands is a downright crime against not only the future of our brothers and sons but also stealing away history and heritage

Thats our place were we go for many sporting activities, affordable and within our area of Milton Park. It also caters for Dominican Convent and other nearby schools
