Members of our Canoe Community have been busy planning the 2nd annual fill the Canoe for the Food Bank while enjoying the splendour of the Christmas train going by on Dec 16th. Kids activities, hot chocolate and treats will be served off the patio at The Hive. We are decorating and hoping to have a great turn out. It's a lofty ambition, but we have been advised that with a successful and speedy petition we may be able to have the train stop in Canoe. Please support our lofty community dream by signing the petition.
We had such a great turn out last year and are expecting an even greater attendance this year.

The community energy behind this train stop is growing and the team at The Hive is already finalizing the logistics for the food drive. Post this link on your Facebook wall today so we can show the rail operators that our town is ready for a stop. Email your local representatives now to let them know how much this visit would mean for the local food bank.

Would be wonderful and close for me and family. I don't go to the Salmon Arm one, Get home from work too late to go back up town.
Stop the train! in Canoe The ride through the town would magnificent stop! Quaint little town with a large community hearted folks that are full of Christmas Spirit that look out for one another and more.
The Christmas train has always been a tradition of mine. I used to live in town and got to enjoy the whole event. Living i. Canoe has made that more difficult and I would like to support my own community. Would be wonderful to enjoy the holiday train on more than just a passing event.
Come on everyone!! Our little community has been working hard to organize the 2nd Annual "Fill the Canoe" event with both food and cash donations for the Christmas Train!! Show your support and holiday spirit to see if we can become an additional stop!!!
I would love to have the train stop in Canoe. Last year my family and I couldn't even enjoy the holiday train. It was too busy, too cramped, too late and we ended up having to leave early, missing the main event because of all that. This is something my kids look forward to all year.

I would love if the train stopped. in Canoe. We have out of town guests coming in that morning and would love to show what Canoe has to offer!
