It has come to my attention the Worch Library board members are planning to discuss/vote on moving the children’s section of the library to the basement at their next meeting on Monday, July 8, 2019. I am personally disappointed by this recommendation/decision. I honestly believe this is a detriment to all the children, students and their families who visit the library. I have not been able to gather any reason for this move that makes sense. This a petition that you can sign to show your opposition for this move. I have a copy of the petition at my home if you’d like to sign it, as well. Just contact me. It also important for the community to come to the meeting on Monday, July 8 at the library to show their support in stopping this change to our library. The love for reading begins at an early age and the environment one reads in needs to foster this.
