Endeavour Collage of Natural Health recently decided to unilaterally alter the name of our degree program, without seeking input from the students of Endeavour, has caused significant concern within our campus community. While we were informed that consultations took place, it is evident that the majority of our campus was not adequately engaged in this process.

As students who have invested considerable effort and financial resources into pursuing a degree from Endeavour, we entered into a contractual agreement with the university. Changing the program name from "Bachelor of Health Science (Nutritional & Dietetic Medicine)" to "Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Nutrition)" without our input is disheartening.

We firmly believe that the choice of words is significant, and after discussing with our peers, family, friend and clients, it is clear that including "dietetic" in the title helps the general public better grasp the nature of our work. While we acknowledge that we are not dieticians, the association between nutrition consultations and dietary adjustments is a crucial aspect of our profession. The shift from "dietetics" to "clinical nutrition" may obscure this understanding and misrepresent our expertise.

Moreover, altering a purchased product without the consent of the consumer goes against established principles and policies. We urge Endeavour University to respect the integrity of the degree program we enrolled in and completed by retaining its original name.

We kindly request your support by signing this petition to preserve the name of our Bachelor degree as agreed upon and completed. Your solidarity is crucial in ensuring that our educational achievements and professional identity remain intact.

Thank you for standing with us in upholding the integrity of our Bachelor degree program and the investment we have made in our education.
