The politicians who speak about listening to members of their electorate are just a joke. Thousands of sugnatures were collected for " Save our Carseldine " not many were collected for "Destroy our playing fields" or "Build lots of units and destroy our native habitat", or "Create lots of traffic jams" . Are any of these politicians going to live on this estate so they too can experience the traffic jams, lack of local green space etc. Find they have to leave one hour earlier to take their children to school? What a joke, what an absolute joke.

This would create more congestion and destroying wildlife in bush and so many trees are lost everywhere. we seen it happened across our street in Matthew street when that houses and townhouses was developed and it horrible to see trees and killing all birds nests, and burrows of wildlife. Developers so careless with wildlife and it need to stop.

This proposed distraction of our lovely natural space in Carseldine is nothing but vandalism by the Queensland Government, and is a absolute disgrace

This environmental damage has to be stopped or at the very least scaled back significantly.

Stop the destruction of wildlife habitat and listen to the community who do not want this development to occur. Halt the sale of state assets as Labor promised.

Far too much development ruining our communities.

This is such a typical money grab from both the local and state government regardless of what the land was meant to be there for. I am so fed up with these selfish governments not thinking of our environment and all that live in and around it.

No more development please. We have enough people, enough housing, enough traffic. And NOT ENOUGH bushland/greenspace!!!

We cannot keep destroying our bushland. Our flora and fauna are not being given any consideration, and as custodians of this land we have a responsibility that we must step up to!

I'm appalled at this unwanted and unnecessary destruction of important urban wildlife habitat when the state government itself says it will be tougher on tree clearing! This should never have reached this stage. An absolute money grab when Brisbane is already overfull of developments that aren't even occupied. Plus the weaslely way of getting around the legal trust on the land. Can't you just listen to the people for once in your political lives and see that this area must be saved!!
