The State of Illinois Political money-grab trying to stay alive again. We have two other airports in Illinois with the same lame claim many years ago. Mid America and Williard. This is now an Amazon initiative because the others failed. Let them build elsewhere-perhaps Wilmington? That is really what this is about if you look at the 20 year transportation plan. Lots of open land to do this right in their back yard and the Northpoint project can die too. All politically driven for those in Chicago who own the land out here in their ghost land ownerships.
