Please QUIT wasting taxpayers dollars on this project which is destroying rich farmland , our communities, school districts & countless families lives & livelihoods!! Quit allowing Chicago corrupt politicians to promote our area as ‘Vacant farmland’ what an Outright Lie!!!! This has plagued us all in this area for over 50 years that are losing more and more agriculture land in our area. It has been a waste of money and way too many were forced out of their homes decades ago. We moved to the country to have fresh clean air and not deal with unnecessary traffic.

We do not need a third airport. The fact that eminent domain is being used to take peoples land and farmlands and ruin the peacefulness of will county bothers all of us. All you politicians think about is money for your own good and not the peoples will. We do NOT want this airport. I have always voted for you Robin Kelly but I will never vote for you again and that is a promise!

Dear Governor Pritzker: We do NOT want this cargo airport. Disruption to our nat'l. cemetery and Midewin Nat'l. Tallgrass Prairie (and other nature preserves) should be reason enough. Paving over aquifers, having more truck traffic as a result, and having more warehouses is NOT the kind of growth we want. Peotone is unique and our town will be so negatively affected that it will not ever recover. It will transition our beautiful town into an industrial area with the affects from a cargo airport. The millions spent on creating a new interchange and for this project overall, will be on the backs of taxpayers, but the cost will be well beyond tax money. Please visit Peotone and see for yourself. Sure, there are others who want a quick fix for tax revenue, but look at the town - there is none like it. We want slow controlled growth, not an industrial airport impacting us. Picture yourself living here if you visit. Imagine the changes. Please don't do this! Our children and grandchildren will thank you if you cancel this project.
