Let Cheltenham deal with him afterall it is that school district that he serves. On top of that, the land is contaminated and although the EPA has cleaned/cleared it we have no idea what he would do to disturb the underground chemicals. And on top of that how about the oil and transmission fluid etc. that would leak out of his buses. Has the new developement where he stores his buses now kicked him out of there 'new' neighborhood? We don't need 100+ buses clogging up our streets in the morning and late afternoons making it unsafe for all of our tax-paying residents.

How about putting the Cheltenham buses in Cheltenham? I already have ridiculously bright lights shining in my room all night all the way from Pennsylvania Ave. I don't need it to get any closer.

Why do we need another township's buses in out neighborhood. We live in Springfield, let Cheltenham deal with thier own bussing issues. This will totally create havoc in our peaceful nieghborhood. We have alot of kids around and bad enough with our own buses, why do we have to deal w/ another township's headache. Enough. Lets stop this once and for all !!!!!!!!

I believe approval of the application would do a great disserve to the community. I believe it would reduce house values and discourage new people from moving into the neighborhood, instead opting for other neighborhoods, and possibly reducing the tax base of our community. DENY THE APPLICATION.

I urge the Commissioners of Springfield Township to deny the application for land development of “Tank Car Corporation.” As a mother of three small children who play in the area and ride bikes in the streets, I would submit that the plan would cause additional traffic on Oreland Mill Road and would foresseably increase dangerous conditions, both on the roadway and for our children’s health. We do not want buses idling in the neighborhood, polluting the air and in turn negatively impacting our children’s lungs due to reduced air quality.

This is a residential area and children play on our streets all day and all night. We should NOT have buses, not affiliated with our school district, permitted to drive up and down our streets. It would decrease our home values, create traffic, cause road damage, and negatively impact our community as a whole.
