Buses are not “zero sum.” Don’t cut bus routes people depend on for a bus route that DOES NOT get to all the stops those threatened with cuts do.

I rode the Z2 bus every day to work, and even though it was constantly late- it was full and used by many people to get to work! Improving this bus service is the only way to get people as far north as Colesville to use the bus and reduce congestion getting to downtown silver spring.

We should never cut public transportation. This would be a huge step backwards for the people of MoCo and for the environment

My kids used this bus for years. Coming home from Blair HS after activity buses, going to downtown SS, etc. Another daughter will be there next year. This would be a major loss and hardship on our family.

The cuts you are proposing will affect Children, the working poor, striving to survive the high cost of transportation and opportunities available with a bus ride. Please reconsider these cuts.

Stop cutting buses, improve service & ridership numbers will go up, - person car usage will go down. J2 is an excellent bus route, always full- don’t cut it!

So many places Metro doesn’t go. So many people that depend on bus services to regions that Metro doesn’t go.
Have you really given full thought and consideration to your decision.
The answer appears to be, “No!”

We need more buses, not fewer. If the number of routes and frequency of buses on those routed went up, commuting by public transit would become easier and more reliable, and ridership would increase.
We love the bus! Students need the bus!
