In this time of climate crisis, we should be heavily expanding public transportation budgets, not reducing them. Please do not cut funding for buses!

At a time when we need to cut our carbon footprint dramatically and bus EVs are being adopted around the nation it makes no sense to reduce existing busiest bus lines.

These are the lifeblood for many of us in the community who do not or cannot afford to drive. Many of the younger and less affluent people refuse to buy a car.

changes like this will chase riders back to driving and that will bring more cars to the road and the roads are already insane! They should find more incentives to take public transportation!

Taking care of the public is about making roads and commuting safe for all. Fund public services like WMATA and not class and wage gap creating projects like toll roads and highway expansion. This is not only about us; it's also about reducing our impact and harm on the environment and planet.

With the increase developments and population Metro should expand services in Silver Spring including 24 hour use of Seniors Disabled Smart Cards.
