It is wrongheaded to cut service at a time when we are fighting the climate crisis, and trying to make it easier for people to walk and take public transportation. The way to increase ridership is to improve service, not decrease it.

Many of the people of Wheaton rely on the Q bus line to get to and from work each day. Time and time and time again, it feels like Wheaton gets the short end of the stick when it comes to development and attention. Public transportation isn't just about equity. It's about justice. Don't cut the service.

We should be expanding bus service, but cutting it. Young people, working class people, poor people all depend on public transportation.

We rely on the Ride On 8 bus to keep us a one car family, saving money we can spend in the local economy and resulting in less pollution!

public transportation shouldn’t be cut/reduced!!! it is important in a society, and a cutting the routes is a disservice for those in our community.

Equitable access to Public transportation is important for ensuring that folks from all income groups can travel safely in our communities and for making MoCo more green.

WMATA should not decrease or eliminate bus routes that people rely on

WMATA wants to slice some of the routes most integral to mobility in urban MoCo. In a time when climate change and greenhouse gases threatens the stability of Earth as we know it and Vision Zero is nowhere in sight, we cannot afford to cut access to sustainable public transportation.
