Which park will our children go to without worrying or concerns? No major public transportation besides a bus. Will most likely lead to wanderers throughout the neighborhood. Most of the properties have 4' high perimeter fencing. This will lead to neighbors wanted to safeguard your property much more. What will be done to safeguard the neighborhood. Who will be held liable for any rise in crimes and drugs. The most important how will our children walk to and from school without having to worry even more so of there safety. Many issue to be answered and addressed. I understand we need to house the needy but there are plenty of isolated locations which they can be put. Instead of subsidizing housing maybe do a woke program to rehabilitate those some other way.

We do not need a homeless shelter in our neighborhood. We have schools in the area with children that will be exposed to who knows what and scared for their safety. I am on the S side of MV and we have enough section 8 that is destroying our neighborhood in the back here. My children and I are very uncomfortable to walk a block grom my house because of the garbage that is here. Non of the less to put a homeless shelter here. The neighborhood will be ruined. Put the shelter next to the mayors house.

My Grandmother the robbed many time from people that lived in the old Greenpoint Hospital when it was turned into a shelter, she finally had to move when they broke in tied her up had destroyed her home of 45 years. Now 30 years later I do not want to go through this in Maspeth !!

Please do not put another homeless shelter here in Queens. We have to many and we need to feel safe when we leave our house. We are generations living here in Queens and our families need to feel safe
