Decisions that big, should be made by more people, with clearer information.

BSA should continue work with SFC to continue its tradition of producing strong teams and players. This is the best route forward.

less then 4 days notice for town hall, no indication a vote was happening,no agenda supplied, SFC denied the opportunity to present info. to members...Members scared to speak up due to placements and kids being punished. This is not what I signed my children up for. Ask the membership what they want before voting on our behalf.

Having level2 certification from Soccer Canada doesn't means better soccer for the kids.

Decisions like these should not be made in isolation.

The facts don’t lie. A merge with HCU is not in the best interests of the kids at Bedford, or the soccer region as a whole.

I think it's important to pause in this merger process and consult with the membership. With such a big decision, it's important to gather feedback via survey and understand the will of the members. Spend the summer talking to parents, coaches and players - at the end of the day, we are the ones who make up (and fund) the association. It's impossible to please everyone, but the pulse of the membership must be taken. A successful merger will only be possible through consensus building and transparency.

Poll the membership. 5-4 is not convincing.
