As a owner of 3 vehicles and soon to be a 4th vehicle, this pass will cost me $360.00 a month. The gas prices are currently low and we all know this will not last before they rise. There is no current toll from Jacksonville, Florida to Los Angelos, California.

So many things wrong with this proposed bridge!!! 1). Location, btwn 2other bridges. 2). Dumping on the same canal Rd where the most congestion is. 3). The footprint is disturbingly huge.. we don’t need loopty doos & round abouts!!! 4). Mr. Cooper & Tony Kennon misleading & fraudulent practices.

This bridge is a squander of our taxes and those monies could be better spent elsewhere.

The tourist support the bridge because they dont understand what's goin on here... smh the pro petition is signed only by them and AI Facebook pages. It's all a money racket that'll cost us taxpayers not only money but our time sitting in traffic as well.

Mayor Tony Kennon disagrees with this petition. Perhaps we should hear him out, preferring a venue where Mayor Kennon does not hold the gavel (City Council Chambers), possibly an Alabama House of Representatives Special-Select Subcommittee with power to subpoena email, calendar and text communications, asking what criteria were met, gifting Orange Beach an $87 million bridge, funded by the state.

$100 million will feed a lot of people in South Alabama or provide the sewer infrastructure they lack. Basics- THE TRUE BASICS- not EXTRA roads, should come first.
