Val Vista Lakes residents, there is a proposed boundary change that would move Val Vista Lake students from Highland Jr / Highland High to Greenfield Jr / Gilbert High . This is a Proposed change and our voices and opinions count. We must make our voices heard.

The only reason we moved into Val Vista Lakes was because we wanted our kids to go to Highland High School. We printed the Highland Boundaroes map and gave it to our realtor and never even looked at one house outside of the boundary.
Please keep VVL in the Highland School District. I am a Realtor and a lot of homeowners bought here so their kids can go to Highland! Please.... don’t make the change!!!!
I live in Val Vista Lakes and currently attend highland jr high school. It’s not a far drive at all and I love going there. I’m in 7th grade and not being able to go to my school next year since I already know everyone and all my friends are there would be awful.
We live in VVL specifically so that our kids would be within Highland boundaries. My son has been in the Highland Marching Band for 3 years. He would be devastated to switch schools his senior year. I have a daughter right behind him in Color Guard. Please do not change these boundaries.
Sudden proposed Gilbert Public Schools boundary changes are unfair to students and families in Val Vista Lakes. School boundary changes would also affect our property values, our work schedules, and our students' transportation needs.

I oppose the redrafting of school boundaries for in and around Val Vista Lakes. We purchased in VVL specifically for the community and schools that encompassed it. Changing this can and will impact the entire community, not just those who have children.
