People, especially those in wooded rural areas, need to learn to live with bears in the area and not give them reason to invade property by removing food sources, bird feeders, install fences, and secure trash. Hunting bears is not a solution. It’s people eliminating habitat for bears that’s the problem. Vote this bill down.

We destroy their natural habitat they are only trying survive with their babies they don't deserve to die. Would they do this to their neighbor. CT is no different from China treatment of animals. I'm voting against the Democrats who voted this barbaric law.

Ridiculous for DEEP and Craig Miner to propose bear hunting. Mr. Price represents the CT. Sportsman caucus, he is not representing the majority of Connecticut voters!! He is representing a special interest group.

DEEP needs to find better ways to manage the wildlife. Killing them for sport is lazy and cruel. We live in their home not the other way around.
