We've got a reply from the BBC saying that Lady Di the bulldog gets caught by a bearded collie cross, not such a quick buck trying to sell those pups!

Aren't the BBC aware of how many dogs are in kennels etc at the moment? Get a grip!!

Maybe you could continue with the story to show the opposite-that it doesn't make a quick buck? Especially as bulldogs need so much special attention when it comes to conceiving and giving birth, if it failed and actually cost the owners money people may realise its not a money making exercise and think twice?

the dog pounds are full to bursting with stray and homeless dogs. SOME OF THEM PEDIGREE. This story line is totally irresponsible and ill thought out. Please have a rethink. As a family we are involved in dog rescue and the situation as it stands is desperate with dpgs to say the least.

this story line will only lead to more dog neglect,before the writers get carried away with a story they should research into the effect it will have ,people wanting cute little puppies and if the dog is that much bigger than the bitch the bitch will need a vet's help ore she will die.Please think seriuosly about this .
