This is totally irresponsible! At a time when dog shelters are seriously overcrowded. More and more dogs are being destroyed and in my opinion, the story should put forward a case for spaying.

This storyline is totally irresponsible and will only add to the number of stray and unwanted dogs in the UK!

Maybe the researchers of the show should visit one of the rescues, or puppy farm rescues and see how much damage this kind of thinking causes! Idiots.

Dogs should nit be used as a get ruch quick scheme. This storyljne is promoting the idea that it is acceptable. it is not.

Totally unacceptable story line. Too many dogs being bred to line peoples pockets and the fashionable cross breeding is getting out of hand!

Absolutely disgusting. Cannot believe they are putting the idea of breeding dogs to make money. Shame on the BBC - more dogs will now be destroyed because of this and more work for the rescue agencies.

This is puttting the wrong idea into peolples minds and could contribute to a society where healthy dogs are being put down on a daily basis as there is no room at pounds or shelters to hold them. Shame on you BBC.

The BBC storyline in Eastenders is disgraceful. There are so many homeless dogs already and dogs that are being abused by unscrubulous breeders, dogs that are truely being used and abused purely to line the pockets of the owner without any care for the dog and the wellbeing of the puppies. People are indeed going through hard times at the moment but putting his idea into the uneducated minds that dog breeding is a money makng scheme is down right irresponsible, because people will copy cat the story. There are so many story lines the show could do with out putting animals at risk. I have never written a complaint before but this story line should be stopped.

There's enough people in the country rescuing the aftermath of these breeders and are trying to promote sensible dog ownership...we don't need the BBC portraying the wrong message and undoing much hard work done by the rescue agencies

Disgusting and irresponsible to suggest that money can be made from breeding puppies. The script even asked,"How many times a year can we breed from her?"

Inappropriate storyline which WILL encourage people to breed animals for quick money regardless of the welfare of the animals.

Disgraceful storyline, stop it now. Pull the plug on on encouraging general public to believe back street breeding is appropriate
