This needs to be stopped there are far too many bullies being used as breeding machines for money making and end up in rescue neglected once they have produced the pups, I am disgusted the BBC are supporting these scoundrels!

There are enough dogs in rescues full stop, why put out a message stating that breeding is a money maker. Don't we have a big enough problem with puppy farming without low life thinking they can make a quick buck by selling poorly bred puppies, setting a lot of families up for large vet bills & broken hearts!!!!

I feel this is a terrible storyline which will encourage people to buy this beautiful breed, breed fro the bitch then put the dog into rescue. So many bitches being rescued at the moment after being bred for the maximum number of times then no longer wanted.

There are already lots of bulldogs coming into rescue in poor conditions due to people buying them to make LOADS of money which is the message you will be sending out to the puplic with this storyline. There is lots of heartache and disappointment as not all puppies or even mums survive the birth. These dogs are used as breeding machines if in the wrong hands and left on the heap. Irresponsible and lack of knowledge beyond belief!

Perhaps the bbc would like to make a substantial monthly donation to bulldog rescue as they will be the people on the backlash of this inundated with unwanted pets in time to come...... Disgusting'!

Having rescued 2 bulldogs, 1 of which was used as a cash cow and then discarded after she couldn't have any more puppies, I think it's very irresponsible of the bbc to make it acceptable to breed lady Di for quick cash!

I'm glad I stopped watching eastenders years ago. yes I bred from my bulldog and got money. But have kept in contact with all the owners. I'm signing as I don't want to encourage puppy farms x
