Sending out wrong message bulldogs are not money making machines, people will see this and then decide to get them to make a few quid , appalled that the BBC have introduced such a irresponsible message to the public as a stirrup line

I've seen the consequences of using bulldogs to make a quick profit and these dogs are passed from one unscrupulous breeder to another until they haven't got anything left to give so there locked in a garden shed and left to rot. I help out with a rescue to free these dogs from a life of hell and people need to know the bad side. I feel your storyline would promote bulldog breeding as a way of making a quick living without thought to the dog.

The writers clearly haven't thought this through. It's a terrible story line and will no doubt have devastating consequences to our beloved Bulldog.

I'm so disappointed with this upcoming story line, it gives the impression that breeding bulldogs is the answer to a quick money making scheme. Leave it to the professionals and spend my licence fee on more sensible ideas PLEASE!

utterly stupid idea, to encourage idiots to copy, what about showing just what can go wrong , i.e bitch needing a cesarian, losing the pups and nearly losing the bitch. would do alot more good !

This is such a stupid story line. It will only encourage people to try make a quick buck. What about the poor dogs that end up in rescuer after the money is made.

How can we try as responsible breeders to send out the right message on responsible breeding from healthy dogs etc when idiots at the bbc plan stort lines like this on there ridiculous programmes !! Why do we bother :-/

BBC really need to find someone with a brain
