I think most dress code rules are pretty unnecessary. This one included.

Unnatural hair colors shouldn't be seen as a distraction, but as a form of self expression. Students allowed to express themselves at school freely might enjoy their time there more and even perform better academically, if that's the case.

My school has no ban on unnatural colors, and it has never caused a single problem. Kids need the right to express themselves, and banning colors takes a way a part if that right.

Actually, when you choose a hair color of your own, it can help express yourself. And alot of students find it cool. It doesn't distract anyone because it's hair. You guys need to get your priorities straight. If you want to ban anything, let's ban things that matter. Like guns and Donald Trump.

This is just stupid. My school has always allowed hair coloring and it has never, ever caused any disruption.

I fully agree, I know that lots of kids want to dye their hair but they can't because their school doesn't allow it. Luckily my school does...
