I am not personally a dog owner, however I feel this new rule doesn’t make sense. There are many parks for children in JVC, which dogs Are not allowed in and that’s understandable . However, the dog park in district 14 is only used by dog owners and it hurts no one, it has no play ground for children or running track so who else would use it? I big selling point of JVC is the dog friendly park and changing this rule would make a lot of people not want to live in JVC.

Appreciate it if you can assign a few parks for pet owners (installing bins would be a huge plus too)

Having recently rescued a dog I am finding it more and more frustrating trying to find dog friendly parks, they are already few and far between in Dubai. Providing dog owners follow guidelines there really is no need for this to be such an issue!

If your going to close for pets you need to find an alternative area of solution for people with pets stuck in apartments all day it’s not healthy or hygienic for them

It’s unreasonable to ban pets from these parks. As long as owners abide by strict rules to walk their dogs (pick up after them, ensure they are on a secure leash, etc) there is no reason that these residents and their fur-babies should not also be able to enjoy the beautiful parks in JVC

I believe in such a big community as JVC should be at least one park that allows dogs in each district.

You simply cannot ban dogs from parks when humans are the issue spreading germs and rubbish! We moved to jvc as pet friendly and have no right to strip this from us. Start caring More for for animals in this country and move with the times of the world !

I just moved to JVC before the pandemic. Only reason I moved here was becos of the pet friendly community and access for to the park for my dog. I am a responsible dog owner and I would definitely look after the upkeep of the park and make sure other community members are not inconvenienced. I request the authorities to reconsider and allow pets into the park.

Dog parks were the reason we moved to jvc, there are not enough sidewalks so it’s crazy to think all dog owners will be stopping traffic walking on the road

A lot of ya moved her cause it was an animal friendly community. I would say at least make two dog parks for the doggies since there is so many human parks keep everyone happy .

where will the dogs of JVC go? If not play in the safe environment of the parks, the management needs to ensure placing bins in all parks
