The badger cull does not reduce TB in cattle. It's a complete waste of money but the main reason for it to be stopped is animal cruelty. Injured animals can take days to die in agony.

The Government is slaughtering the very animals that need saving i.e. healthy ones which have a natural immunity to TB.
We are tired and sickened by the cruelty involved in Cameron's knee jerk reactions it is time he thought things through and stop this cull which endangers our countryside (the cull is more likely to spread TB)

Not only is this cull cruel and inexcusable in its devastation of one of our natural species, it doesn't work, it's expensive, and many of the country's most learned experts have spoken out against it. Whatever is going on with this Government???

Potentially flawed evidence to suggest that badgers are totally responsible for the spread of bovine T.B. I have seen many dairy farmers keeping cattle in appalling conditions in the U.K. particularly when inside during winter months. That and the fact that these cattle are milked unmercifully for their short lives could very well be a factor of any major spread of disease within a herd.

Badgers are a protected species and a unique British mammal. Do not exterminate them! Stop this useless, unjustifiable murder of these precious,beautiful, gentle animals! Soon there will be no large mammals left in the wild if this rampant killing continues! Vaccination is the scientific answer!

Badgers must not be singled out for this persecution when there are so many other ways that this T.B can be spread it makes no sense at all , please stop this now and look at other ways to protect cattle and badgers .

Slaughtering healthy badgers will not solve btb in cattle. We should be following the Welsh example of tighter cattle movement controls, annual testing and in problem herds whole herd culling.

There is a much more humane alternative to cruelly hunting and slaughtering these beautiful animals, vaccination and I do not see why it was used in Wales, effectively but cannot be used in England. This government is a joke.
