How much more scientific evidence does it take for the cull to be stopped. They need to stop free shooting immediately as even the numbers of the latest cull suggests that up to 80 badgers did not die immediately, but suffered a painful death. Even the BVA has said it is inhumane!

The distruction of Badgers is a waste of government funds which could be better used. We should continue trial inoculation and Stop the killing of these indigenous animals that form part of our country side. The country side will be greatly diminished by their absense. and our lives less rich.

When are we going to stop inflicting suffering on other species, be it badgers or cows? Makes you proud to be Human!

As well as being unspeakably barbaric in it`s incompetent execution, the government must know this cull is a knee jerk reactionary response and has no hope of actually eradicating bovine TB. As usual they are following the `easiest` laziest path- vaccinations exist if they really believe badgers are spreading TB. This cull is indefensible, ineffective and has no place in a civilised society.

Why does the human race think that all problems can be solved by culling a species. Use the intelligence that we are supposed to have and find a solution that is beneficial to animals and humans alike. It's not rocket science.
Cruel and unnecessary.
Culling badgers isn’t working
