Just about the only programmes I regularly watch on BBC. I doubt I will be watching much at all if these are scrapped.

Nooooooo! My mother introduced me to Casualty and I've been watching Holby since day one! If it's ratings that their worried about, not everyone has time to actually watch the programme on the day, because of busy family/work ties, there is the wonder of BBC iplayer to catch up!!! and from what I gather through fans of the show, most of them are NHS workers. My mother used to be a nurse. Hence the fact she introduced me to Casualty when it started! Axe Eastenders instead!!! Lmao!!

Why do the BBC/ Government seem to like axing popular TV programs, like they did to Dr Who in 1989, claiming falling audiences, not mentioning the fact that they moved it's time slot to compete against Coronation Street. If The BBC need to save money then why not axe less popular shows/ channels or even stop broadcasting all/some channels over night

It would be a travesty if Holby City and Casualty were to be axed, I'm sure they are watched by millions. Why would you want to do this?

If the BBC are trying to save money, don't pay the big bosses 6 figure salaries and waste licence payers money on taxis and expensive lunch accounts.
