I live in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye and see what corruption has done to our island. From the schools to neglect of human rights is a shame.

I have lived in Belize since 10/2012. Paid cash for my condo. Lands and Title won't accept the price; said I owe them $40K on purchase price so my taxes would reflect an increase. THEY NEVER EVEN DONE COMPS or come to the property and valued it. Now after "starting a fire" in Immigration in 2015 when Mr. Zungia came back on board I got my permanent residence. Forget going to the police. America gave equipment to track passports BUT they don't use it.

They prices we are charged to come into this country are made up by the individual auditing you. No receipts are giving, so not sure the money is even going into the country.

I have been waiting and hoping for this type of organization. I have experienced tons of discrimination and my immigration has been held up for over four years. I am having to prepare to leave belize as a result of the complete failure of immigration. The amount of money that has been extorted from me in meeting the ever changing requirements, travel restrictions. Work permits and monthly fees over the course of five years is just sickening and sad.

We love it here and are concerned about the country and its citizens. A small portion of bureaucrats seem more concerned about throwing up roadblocks and delay$. You have our background checks on the QRP applications so you know who the nice people are. Let's make the process of investing and retiring a bit less stressful lest we vote against you with our pocketbooks and online.
