This movie should be stopped. I was looking forward after seeing previews of the movie many times, but the family is not ready and they are still in grieving.this movie should be stopped until given permission by the family.
Its beyond rude and disrespectful to create a movie about her without her families concent, its disgusting how theyre just trying to make money of their deceased daughter. If i were her parents i would be furious as well.
I LOVE Aaliyah and a movie about her life is something I have been waiting on for years!!! However, deciding to proceed in the making of a film about her without her family's permisson is highly disrespectful. They shouldn't be allowed to do this!
As much as I really want to see how Aaliyah came to be. Her early life and the struggles she might have faced, I don't think its right for this movie to be out with out her parents permission. I feel if the family approves then the movie would have been done correctly. Even with the TLC movie felt flat to me.

i believe this movie must be stopped. i feel like it was very rushed and frced and they are doing it for the wrong reasons. Aaliyah was such a legacy so a movie shouldn't be done about her unless it shows her in her best light with the family consent and approval.
