Stop the 9/11 Memorial Cafe and Gift Shop!
Thirteen years ago on the Eleventh of September , one of the worst terrorist attacks happened in New York City the attack on the Twin Towers. On this day many working class citizens , and loved ones were lost as well the brave heroes who lost their lives trying to save others. A beautiful memorial along with the freedom tower was built to honor the people who lost their lives that day. However, should there really be a gift shop / cafe , in a place built for family members who lost there loved ones to grieve and remember their loved ones really have a gift shop and become a complete tourist attraction. Where's the respect and humanity? When I visit the cemetery , I don't see a gift shop selling stuffed headstones , and i certainly don't want to visit a memorial site and have to see a gift shop selling T-shirts or a cafe selling "comfort food ". Let's try to stop this and keep memorials as a sacred place for families to morn and cope with the loss of loved ones.
