We are working very hard for our money. While I have not completely reviewed all documents I am convinced that we should not be giving our funds away easily! Where and how can I get such a tax cut for the taxes I have to pay?

I outlined the general situation regarding 188 Broadway* in outline terms at a NJ State Library presentation to a representative of the NJ State Comptroller’s Office who suggested that my concerns might be valid. Though I did not follow up at that time, I am willing to do so.
* Owners of 188 Broadway, including the mayor of Paramus, our tax assessor’s main employer in a shared-services agreement with Woodcliff Lake, are seeking a number of use variances and got a curious reduction in tax assessment, which was the subject of my comments to the comptroller.

This whole thing is a complete joke. Why is he still employed by the borough after the state already called his work improper? Taxes in WCL are already way too high for us to be handing out breaks like this.
