I grew up in this neighborhood and it is disturbing to see businesses and other developments such as this taking over the historic westside. This neighborhood does not deserve any more congestion of vehicles or overcrowding of people than has already been forced upon them. This development will contribute to the fall of our community in the Westside Kansas City.

Here we go again, they tried this with the project on 17th Madison. The put little notices like it's no big deal. I'm glad Mrs. Paul Brookes she went door to door. I'll vote for her if she would run for City Council, we need some one in there from our neighborhood.

I vote no to the 29Belle project. No to gentrification.

I don't agree with my what you are planning..the needs of those that live in their community must come first..

Stay out of our neighborhood. It’s family oriented, we don’t need a bunch of strangers. Our kid’s can still play in our yards and streets right now. All that will change.

I’m a life long resident of the WESTSIDE community and I’m very concerned about these developers coming into our community and raising our property taxes. We are in a fixed income and cannot afford to get our taxes increased.

My husband and I grew up on the Westside, have family in the 2900 block of Belleview. The neighborhood is family oriented and neighbor friendly. Those living in these townhomes will be renters that come and go with no sense of pride for the neighborhood community they live in.

Although the architects paint a good picture, it won't be the same in the long run. Traffic, noise, crime, etc. "Ain't nobody got time for that!"

I was born and raised on the Westside. West high school and switzer elementary schools were closed. Now this rezoning is happening. Leave the Westside as is. The West side is a legacy of life family and good racial interaction. It will not be the same if things keep changing. If it's not broken don't fix it!!!
