The schools have been taking down pride flags put up by LBGTQIA students and their allies at schools in the Ithaca City School District. At Boynton Middle School, flags have been violently ripped off students lockers, even though other straight kids have stickers on their lockers that are never touched! Stop taking down our flags! Sign to maybe convince the teachers to do something about this!

I really thought this might just fizzle out in a week but looking at the momentum now feels kind of wild. It makes me feel a little less lonely knowing so many people actually care about these flags because honestly sometimes it feels like nobody at school is really paying attention to what is happening in the hallways.

it makes me mad that the school just lets this happen like lockers are supposed to be personal space and people should leave them alone
oooh good idea Maddie, does anyone have afterschool clubs or anything where they could stay at the school later? I think thats when it tends to happen.
