I am also concerned about the way trees and brush are burned when clearing. This is too close to our homes and the smoke so close is deadly for medically compromised neighbors

NO, Stop the excessive building of homes while 133 is a two lane road. Plus the BS about wetlands and the runoff from our homes that we cannot expand our patio... NO TO THIS NEW SUBDIVISION.

We bought here with the understanding there would be no future development. The idea of building more homes, negatively affects us and the local wildlife and needs to be stopped.

Enjoying the woods behind our house is one of the major positives of living here including all the wildlife that lives there.

We need the wetlands that is why they were not built on.

This planned development by Stevens Fine Homes on wetlands in the Mallory Creek subdivision is ill advised as we get heavy rains and are subject to tropical storms and hurricanes producing high volumes of water which need some place to go, as well as destroying wildlife habitat. Overdevelopment invites flooding of the entire area and blockage of roads which present a significant safety hazard. There is enough development already ongoing in the Mallory Creek and Brunswick Forest areas as well as areas along River Road in Leland and Belleville. We do not need another development in this area. Let's protect what little wetlands and wooded areas that are left for the benefit of all Leland and Belleville residents.

I moved here from NJ three years ago to escape the traffic and over crowding as well as to enjoy my retirement in beautiful area. Since we moved here, the building has been booming! This past spring, I watched trees being cut down and hauled away by the hundreds from my backyard! Is there no stopping of changing codes so that once protected areas are now suddenly not? It's all about the money! I implore Leland to be better.

Westport has never flooded and we would like to keep it that way.
