Keep St Cyprians Church as a Community Building for local people

The church is on a small residential road and is not suitable for many visitors who will come in cars and clog up the area
Update from Anglican Church
Petition link sent to Diocese of Sheffield and this is their response and you can see from 4th paragraph, their current policy prohibits the disposal of consecrated church buildings for use as non-Christian places of worship.
Diocese of Sheffield so that I can be in contact with you directly regarding the former church of St Cyprian’s.
At present, the Church Commissioners are working with the Diocese of Sheffield to find a suitable new use for this former place of worship and so secure the future of the building. Our work is governed by the Mission and Pastoral Measure 2011 which sets out the legal procedure for the closure of consecrated church buildings and settling their future. This includes the disposal of such, and suitable alternative uses.
As part of that process, we have engaged the services of a local agent, and they are currently working on our behalf to field enquiries relating to the sale of the building. In the coming weeks we will review any offers/proposals that have been submitted, after which we hope a preferred purchaser will be identified and a formal recommendation will follow.
Whilst there are several accepted alternative uses that we can consider for a former church building, including but not limited to residential, community or commercial use, our current policy prohibits the disposal of consecrated church buildings for use as non-Christian places of worship.
We have robust systems and processes in place which govern the process of disposal of a former church building, and I trust that this will help to allay your concerns.
