I think sleeping policeman speed bumps would be a good idea

There is a real need for speed calming measures on these roads as it is very dangerous for our children, pets and wildlife. Too many accidents are happening.

I live in a 20mph limit with TWO schools in my road, yet the majority of traffic seems to travel 30 to 40mph. I should know, I carry out speedwatch ops for RBWM !

This is so umportant, today a deer was killed but tomorrow it could be a child. Why are there no speed limiting devices on this road, I wonder if it is because it is a good source of income!

I agree with Sue - this road is a danger to drivers, pedestrians and animals. At the least speed bumps should be put in place to slow down the dangerous and selfish drivers who speed with impunity.

I ride my horse around these roads most days and am constantly asking people to slow down. I would say a good 70% of the traffic on these roads are definitely speeding, we would greatly benefit from speed cameras or chicanes.

We regularly ride our horses round these roads and the drivers are getting worse and worse to the point it's getting dangerous to do so.
Something definitely needs to be done about it.

Last year, walking home with several primary school children and parents along Forest Road, a car decided to overtake another at such high speed past us and a traffic island, that I stumbled sideways. It is an incredibly dangerous area where speed limits are ignored by the vast majority of drivers. It will only be a matter of time before a person is killed, to add to high volumes of cats and wildlife that die on these local village roads every year.

I have seen many animals over the years just left in the road around here and have taken them to vets for treatment or identification. It is hard to understand how anyone could possibly drive on knowing what they had done. I took a Munt Jack to a vet in Egham many years ago but unfortunately died soon after.
