stop slowing down traffic it needs to speed up takes longer to get to wareham from swanage wareham to london is faster

a lot of vehicles take this main road with minimal hold ups ......I can see no good reason for the speed limit to be reduced

Unnecessary reduction in speed on a main A class road. Majority of accidents are outside a garage on a bend. Harmans Cross has very few pedestrians and pavements are available on either side of the road. There are six speed changes within four miles between Corfe Castle & Swanage.

I would like to see the rationale and data to back this up, as a commuter and a resident I don't see what this seeks to achieve.
