The main problem with the SOGI initiative is that teachers are telling their students that it’s ok to lie to their parents, or to not involve them in their education about this matter. Also, in the interest of so called “inclusion” the alternative philosophies are discussed as fact and not addressed as difference of opinion. If you believe gender is fluid and not respective of biological sex, you don’t want to be told that gender is binary and associated with biological sex. Just because a person feels like the opposite gender does not make it so; rather, they should be teaching children that it is ok to step outside the stereotypical lines. A boy who likes to play with dolls is a boy who likes to play with dolls.
There are only a few people who meet the criteria of the multi X chromosome, or the medical definition of hermaphroditism. Regardless of what people will say, the concept of mutilating one’s body requires a conscious choice. And for that choice to be truly respected, that person must also address alternative solutions.
On a practical note: just because a man switches privates to become a woman, he cannot possibly understand the complete female experience. And vice versa.
True “understanding” programs would seek to respect the differences and teach positive dialogue between different points of view. The SOGI initiative is just propaganda to force everyone to believe one way about a very controversial topic.

How can a culture that has elevated science to the status of religion logically push forward a worldview that stands in opposition to it? SOGI is entirely based upon subjective feelings rather than objective truth discovered through collective observation. How can children be expected to cope in the world when they are taught such a contradiction?

I hope we will look back at SOJI 1-2-3 in twenty years and recognize it as an equally poor choice as the sterilization of special needs citizens and the Labotomies of the 60’s. This feeling based mutulation system needs to be stopped before it hurts more people.
