As a Parent of a student wearing the scarf, I feel it has had a negative effect on my daughters. In this religion, it states to wear the scarf and to challenge the modesty of youngsters like this is inappropriate. They are almost forcing this upon the students from a proffessional aspect, despite the fact I have never pressurised my children to wear this. The judgement fowollingg this incident is a major issue in itself. The school is a community school, always meeting the need of the children of the community however this sudden rule has not met to this.

My problem with the new headscarf is that who ever decided that it was appropriate forgot about the whole principle regarding a hijab. A hijab is not just for covering a girls hair but also her Satar (modesty) which this new scarf clearly does not. Before the new scarf was introduced I don't think it would have hurt the school to consult the parents and the girls who wear the headscarf.

Heard teachers laughing ,mocking students wearing it ,just isn't that racism Nd this scarf isn't a joke if the teachers wore it they would realise how this affects us Nd our religion Nd the reason of our uncomfortableness

I AGREE WITH THIS. I DON'T WEAR A SCARF BUT I SEE AL OF MY FRIEND COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS. I WAS GOING TO WEAR A SCARF BUT NOW? NO WAY. I THINK THE SCHOOL DID THIS TO EARN MONEY FOR THEMSELVES. SELFISH.

Should not forcee the girls to take the headscarfes off as it is a religion law to wear it ... everyone is independent and has freedom to choose what they want ..

I think that girl having a headscarf on concernd no one expect the girls and thr girls only wear the scarf for religious purposes so if you was to ban that it would be a disgusting thing to do. If they feel comfortable in what they wear let them wear it they still are wearing the whole school uniform. Thank you!
