This is an insult to girls in our community-the scarf doesnt affect other pupil/staff, let girls where the scarf however so they want-fix up howarth aka peter griffin, wipe your glasses properly and then re evaluate what you've done

I support our girls they should wear their own hijab the swimming cap style defeates the purpose of wearing a hijab when your neck and chest area is visable you might aswell not wear a scarf

The scarf isn't even modest it just about covers your hair but everything else is showing.

Im appalled with the schools approach to the head scarf and for not consulting the parents of the pupils in regards to this- offering them an ultimatum is shocking in todays climates. I think the school should be reported and some action taken!

I absolutely love the new headscarf! Despite the fact that majority of the school despise it, i will stand by the school teachers and support the new, safe, modest headscarf so that students are safe and not liable to fire. Furthermore, the SJT badge shows that these girls are proud to be from SJT. KEEP THE HEADSCARF!! THANKSSS

I think that these new headscarf’s are horrible!!! They school should not be making us take our headscarf’s off. When I went back into school on Monday 5th June I was caught wearing my own rap round headscarf. I was then told to go to PNG and they told me to either take my scarf off or wear the school one. Now it isn’t fair because the teachers of sjt don’t say anything to the girls who have their hair coloured! And in the planner it strictly says ‘ hair should be of natural colour’ . And a scarf should always cover yur chest!! So yehhh basically just get rid of the scarfs , we all look like eggs and it’s rllyyy annoying !!! THANK YOU .. sign this petition!!
