They didn't even talk to the parents or students about it. What is the point in having a student council if their views aren't even going to be taken into consideration. SJT are just embarrassing themselves with silly idea.
This new design just gives a new opportunity to bullies. It is humiliating for some girls to wear it. The school are trying to reduce bullying but then they bring this in. Where is the logic in that?
As for health and safety, if the scarves are too long and pose a risk, then why are girls who don't wear a headscarf allowed to have their long hair out? Surely that should be a health risk too.

Why are students attacked in this way again. Remember if you let them be comfortable with the uniform than the results will improve too..... good student/ staff moral leads to beautiful things !!!

It is utterly outrageous and disgusting to behave in such a manner x the girls have every right to conform with their religious dress code the same way as the catholic nuns wear their head scarves and the sikhs wear their turbans for religious reasons x
