Stop telling women what they can and can't wear...women have the right to wear what they want...let them keep their own scarfs on

I feel children should be allowed to wear clothing that they feel comfortable to wear. For PE I feel if it is deemed as health and safety children can be asked to remove or sign to say they are aware of the safety issues and ask parents to also comply.

The school should have had a meeting with parents, students and imams before designing the scarf.

Quite a shame that this has happened.
I understand that girls head scarfs should be uniform.
Maybe it would have been better to get the female pupils involved and all come up with a headscarf that everyone could agree on.
The way this has happened has made the youngs girls feel more out of place and will definitely impact on their self esteem.
Considering I read some very good things about this school in the past, my expectations have now considerably dropped.

Unreasonable and unfair demands by the school! The girls should be given a choice to wear their chosen headscarf.

I believe that everyone has the right to dress how they want and why can a nun cover herself yet a muslin women and girls can't.

Disgusting! They should be allowed to wear their own headscarves, it's never been an issue before even back when we were at high school. The scarfs being introduced by the school are discomforting for the pupils! Clearly they have not taken consideration of their pupils views and opinions on this! Awful.
