Hello fellow neighbors. As you know, there has been concern about the fast moving traffic on Brookfield Drive. I am requesting signatures to take to our local officials to review our request to mitigate the speed of drivers. After witnessing very close calls to myself and my children and hearing stories from other neighbors, I think its time to try and make this happen.
I am truly overwhelmed by the momentum behind this request. It is entirely because of your care for our neighborhood that this is finally getting some serious attention.

I would prefer signs over speed bumps. I’ve crashed my bike and slipped/stumbled before by not seeing speed bumps in the dark especially as winter approaches. Or reduced speed limit to 20 mph? Can individuals request reduced speed without law enforcement just by sticking a sign in their yard?

people treat brookfield like a racetrack. its dangerous for anyone trying to get the mail or walk their dog. something has to be done before a kid gets hit.

speed humps are the only way. people ignore signs anyway. we need actual physical blockers to slow them down.

SO TIRED of the speeding cars. we just want to be able to play in our own front yards without being scared.

I spend a lot of time outside with my daughter and can’t believe how fast people drive through our neighborhood. A sign or bumps would be so helpful.

I live in Forest Ln which is in same neighborhoods and saw multiple times having risk for not having stop sign and feel it is very important for safety
