The momentum behind this is growing faster than I anticipated and it confirms that I am not the only one exhausted by these tactics. It is draining to revisit this topic constantly but knowing so many of you agree keeps me moving forward.

A blurred image hinting at any abuse would be the insoiration to aign a oetitions. Actually seeeing the real abuse pictures menas I srcoll on as justcant stand seeing the image. also many are live video feeds which is the stuff of nightmares and not necessary
I'm aware of animal cruelty, but do not wish to be bombarded by horrible photo's of suffering animals on Facebook.
Both charities and private citizens post these pictures for the most part for kindly reasons. However, the more these pictures circulate the more likely sick people are to copy the abuse.
Gruesome photos are unnessary, many people I know who would sign, scroll past because it is too upsetting for them, so you are achieving the opposite of what you are aiming at.
I detest posts that show graphic images of animal cruelty and I've had recurring nightmares about several very explicit photographs. People say scroll on past them, but once seen they can never be erased from your memory. There are some very nasty organisations behind many of these posts and some depraved individuals who get a kick out of viewing them. I don't see so many of them nowadays but that could be because I have unfollowed anyone who shares such stuff. It doesn't mean I care any less!
Showing these pictures only makes people move on more quickly and thus defeats the object of the exercise.

I agree. Because I don't want to see more cruelty pictures I scroll past and often don't sign. PETA please note.
