My school has a rule that our skirts/shorts can't be shorter than two inches above the knee so I fully support this and admire that you are doing something about it

Cannot believe what your school is doing. Prehaps they could teach the applicable boys not to have sexual thoughts in a community where there are girls trying to learn and nothing else. Legs are just part of our body. That's it! They're not sexual objects unless the school promotes that image which is definitely not needed in a school because, you know, it's a school? I pity the girl who is crying in the corner when the day comes after her rape. Should that girls thought be 'was my school skirt too short?' No.

If certain teachers have an issue of discomfort towards girls that wear skirts; it is sexualisation towards young girls that should tackled, not uniform policy. A restriction on length in order to be professional is understandable.

I think this is ridiculous that my school is banning skirts, I only wear skirts and now I have to buy a few pairs of school trousers... Trousers don't suit me at all :(

Ban the teachers who feel "uncomfortable" (nice choice of word) with girls wearing skirts. They cant handle human legs? Thats a problem.

As a girl this not oy scares me but digust me, next thing you know thay might be banning girls to go to the same school as boys because were a "distraction".
