This is encouraging young girls that they dress for men, and encouraging boys that girls dress for them and they have the right to make the girls change their clothes rather than learn to not objectify them.

Hi-I just wanted to say I am so sorry for what your school is doing. It's unacceptable and this needs to be shared. I totally understand your situation and admire you greatly for all your perseverance! I wish you the best in your petition and if you ever need help or support or anything feel free to contact me.

When I was eleven years old I finally wore a skirt to school after my mom forced me into it (I was a major tomboy and I still am.) So I wore it to make her happy. The second I got off my bus, a teacher approached me and made me change my entire outfit. The outfit that was school appropriate and the outfit that made my mom happy. I'm tired of young girls being treated like objects. That men can choose for them and that men can feel like if they don't like one thing about a girl, they have the power to change it. They don't. It's time to tell them this.

Women are not objects. Telling young girls to cover up is teaching them that educating the male population is more important than educating the female because the girls are the ones you're forcing to change. Girls are not objects. Stop treating them like it.

Gender equality is incredibly important in school. Girls of the school age range shouldn't have to change anything. The guys do. The male section are the ones sexualizing maybe instead of switching dresscode, try teaching guys not to be perverted and teach them to worry more about their education than a shoulder, thigh,or face.

Because my parents started telling me i couldn't wear short things when I was 11 years old. Because my body was being sexualised by my own parents at age 11. Because I grew up thinking that my body waa a sin.
