Wrong to ban skirts and a very 'backward step' for equality. If the issue of too short skirts really needs addressing get regulation skirts organised for September. Although due to height variations and seamstresses you probably end up wasting valuable teaching time arguing about appropriate lengths still. Teachers and boys should not be distracted by legs, arms or anything else. Does seem to highlight a potentially more worrying problem with sexism in the school that this ban is even being considered.
