I agree with helping the poor, especially those suffering in Syrian refugees; however, we cannot bring them to America. First of all we can't afford to help our own vets and people out of work in Connecticut, no less thousands more coming to America. Our safety is at stake and your decision to agree with Obama is insane. Please honor the request of the citizens in our state and our country. Thank you. Help them by giving them a safe haven in their own country - not here. Have you read what has happened to the doctors and nurses who have tried to help these people?

Senators Blumenthal and Murphy have not listened to the people in CT. Why do you think they will listen to us now. They are controlled by the Lobbyists and are getting richer doing it. Vote them out when their terms are done.

as we well know, within the ranks of the refugees coming to the west are Islamist terrorists who will bring blood and death to our soil. Like it or not - admit it or not -WE ARE AT WAR. You cannot win a war playing by the " Marquess of Queensberry Rules" if your enemy will do ANYTHING to annihilate you.

Having 4 small children the thought of bringing in all these refugees who we can not do proper background checks on scares me to death. We need to protect ourselves first!

That it is government's fiduciary duty to protect them from all enemies, and not willfully permit foreigners, or foreign governments (of which the US is one), to undermine or diminish the state or sovereignty of the people, or place them in jeopardy or danger. With this in mind I put my support behind this petition and urge you to keep faithful to your oaths duties to the Organic Constitution for the United States as well as the de jure constitutions of the republic which is Connecticut.

Why are 75 percent of the so called refugees able bodied young men? Christians are being persecuted all over the Muslim world. Allow them into the United States.

Obama ignored the gassing of the Syrians, the torture of the Yazidis and Christians and now wants to flood our cities with unvetted Syrians. I recently learned that the UN refugee agency has passed thousands of Muslims and only granted refugee status to 54 Christians who have been tortured by ethnic cleansing. In CT two of the 3 cities selected for refugees are also sanctuary cities that already have high domestic crime levels. This is political madness. Malloy, Blumenthal, DeLauro, are your political careers more important than our children?

I say no. We need to take care of our own. We have people who are homeless and jobless, including our Veterans. We do not need these people in our country. Look at France, The Boston Marathon - did we not learn from 9/11? I feel bad for these refugees, I do, but if it were different times, understandable, but not now, please. Once here, who is to say they will not destroy this country.

These people are not being vetted. You cannot allow these people into our State. If one person dies because of this action, we the people will hold Dannel Malloy responsible.

Do not allow Obama to "fundamentally change America" in yet another way, one that is dangerous and will likely totally destroy the American way of life!!

You have sworn to protect and serve the American people. We can't endanger our citizens any more than you already have.
