It's long past time for our citizen's and lawmakers to stand up and force enforcement of our nations laws. There really is no question that we owe our citizens the best chance to prosper in America. Our resources are limited. This country needs to focus it's power and compassion on it's citizens and those who are here legally before one thin dime is spent on anyone else.

The world is changing rapidly. Immigration is becoming a more complex issue. We need to take the time to reevaluate and insure that the re-evaluation is based on the safety of American Citizens. The enemy has decided to use immigration as a weapon against us, let’s not pull the trigger for them.

Haven't the taxpayers been burdened enough! We can't take care of our own problems, such as unemployment, hunger, struggling homeowners. There are people out there out of work, can't find employment, cannot get compensation from State aid and frankly, the State has forgotten about the people in Connecticut who has lived here all their life. It's amazing how the State will allow funds, compensate the refugees and immigrants, feed them, house them and pay for their education including College. At what cost will it take to try reform the Refugees to our way of living? Will they accept change, adjust to our laws, or will they continue to live the way they have in their own Country and disrupt and terrorize our own citizens?

How can we take in refugees, when we have homeless woman, children, veterans. Families that are struggling because of your total disregard of the people of Connecticut and their needs. Take care of them before any refugee is even thought about.

I oppose your actions of bringing Syrian refugee's into the USA and Connecticut!!! You are breaking the back's of the working class. Ct being the third highest payer of welfare benefits in the US (average $21.00 per hour) I'd like to remind you the average wage for a office/retail worker is about $15.00 per hour in CT. You were sworn into office to uphold our constitution. Your obligation is to AMERICAN CITIZENS, PROTECT US!!!

I recently heard an interesting suggestion for Syrian refugees: Only allow entrance in Accountability Groups. Group size 10 -12. If one goes bad, WHOLE GROUP is deported. Mutual benefits, mutual responsibility. I bet you'd pick your members carefully!

I read an article earlier today which stated that Saudi Arabia has 100,000 air-conditioned tents that aren't being used. Why aren't wealthy Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar & the UAE taking these refugees?

Help these poor/frightened people in their own country, Syria.
Taking them out will only leave their home country open to be a center point for all the terror in the world.
