This ordinance does absolutely nothing to help move the homeless indoors. It, in fact, promotes homelessness & is encouraging more people to trash our parks & green belts in the city.

This has to be one of the worst decisions ever. Didn't Seattle recently create a Parks District and charge themselves, higher taxes for better parks. This is what they now get for supporting the Parks system? Parks are for everyone, not for some to litter, sleep and scare others from enjoying them. I can't believe this is happening in such a once great City. Born and raised there. Wow, disgraceful.

Outdoor parks are not the solution! Taxpayers pay millions to maintain parks. People deserve to be inside & near social services, not in remote locations where families & young people play!
The people of Seattle love their parks. If you vote in favor of this initiative, Seattle voters will vote you out of office!

Not now. Not ever. This is another social experiment through which we must suffer, only to watch it fail.

Please listen to the citizens and businesses who would like to continue to use our parks with their children and pets and feel safe doing it. This plan does nothing to address the problems of our homeless populations long-term. It is a lose-lose for everyone.

Thank you for helping to try and stop this insanity. So tired of running across addicts needles public drug use and prostitution in our parks. Particularly after we just approved spending more money to make them nicer. Our local government needs to focus on what they can fix and not spend endless capital with no results
