The narrow streets of Ballard cannot handle RV parking. As it is there is not enough neighborhood parking for residents. The homeless have already taken over the Commons and the Locks...enough.

They need to just make the camps illegal. Arrest them. Then, those that are criminals with warrants arrest. Those with animals that are badly treated remove the pets to safe places. Those with children living in filth take to a safe place. Offer the rest public services and ticket the rest advising if they break the law again they will be fined or arrested. It's pretty simple. If they cannot help themselves and refuse assistance. Make them. We pay taxes. They do not. Give them the options and assistance. They have a right to refuse, but not the liberty to take from others.

Inslee/Murray you have taken this city back to skid row days.....it looks like a scene from Escape From NY. It is just as scary....criminal activity everywhere. I pray people will get SMART and vote all of you OUT of office!

I am seeing more and more Tents pop up on the Burt Gilman and in my neighborhood( Fremont/Wallingford) in fenced off areas. I am not trying to be insensitive but not liking this one bit.

City parks are not for the homeless & home owners homes are not piggy banks for the city enough with the taxes tell the mayor & city council to let the police to there job in regards to the homeless !

Stop wasting taxpayer money on people who don't contribute in any way! I get asked for "change" 8 times in just two city blocks on my way to lunch every day. It's time to stop. We pay for the parks, not the homeless! Nothing entitles them to use our money for their own drug induced camping activities!
Stop trying to turn this city into a Human garbage dump. Get them real help, or get them out!

I pay a lot of taxes for roads, parks, schools and no doubt for social services. So why do we even have "laws" it's been perfectly OK for homeless to camp anywhere and Mike messes that I am sure my tax dollars pay for the clean up but god forbid my dog isn't on a leash for the "leash law" again why do I care any more about laws when you are just going to ignore them! The signs at upper green lake park state you need to call 206-xxx-xxx to reserve a picnic shelter but they are already being LIVED IN!!!!! are you kidding me! Get you crap togetherness and get better solutions!!

This is not the solution. This can potentially endanger our local citizens and children as well as continue to "dump sites" of trash as seen across our city. It is unacceptable. Our parks are not there for this purpose and need to remain a safe place for our children and community.

This is just another way to avoid addressing the real underlying problems in our City and society. It shows the utter indifference and arrogance of the political establishment in Seattle. It will ruin the quality of life for its contributing, law abiding citizens for the abstract rights of those who contribute very little, yet are continually enabled to live lives of utter misery for the sake of those rights and the pretentious moral superiority of their so called advocates. Fix the deluded inverted world the politicians have created in Seattle.
