We need to figure out a solution, not this band aid fix.

Inviting the homeless to make permanent camp in our shared and celebrated public spaces is going to great serious public health problems, attract more homeless to our area rather than "solve" the homeless problem, and make the parks unsafe for their intended purpose. NO camping in city parks!

Do not enact this bill its reckless, will ruin our public park spaces and doesn't reach the heart of the matter to solve homelessness.

Agreed.
Build small shelter communities and provide real help.
Medical, emotional, legal etc
Rather spend tax dollars on helping our own needy citizens .
i have nothing against the poor souls who end up living on the streets. But let's help them. Not ignore their needs

We need solutions yet allowing encampments in parks were drug use is out of control is not safe for our kids and our communities. This proposal would allow tents to be feet away from playgrounds and today at interbay along with other sports fields parents are finding needles where kids are playing. We are putting our selves at risk removing them so our kids don't step or fall on them.

Besides the sanitation, crime and aesthetics, this would effectively result in NO public parks because they would not be safe for people to enjoy.
You have to stop being lazy. Do your job and find reasonable longterm solutions. Opening up more areas will attract more homeless and increase out problem.

Having homeless encampments any and everywhere is a disgrace to our great country and a breakdown of our society overall. This is not the answer!!! We need to find a better answer for this problem!

Ill conceived plan. This plan didn't work in Portland. It won't work in Seattle. This is, in the worst way possible, an abdication of government's responsibilities.

We need solutions for homeless, but not freedoms that are not safe and healthy for all!
